Dealing With Stress & Anxiety

Have you ever felt the tightness, restriction, the panic of stress, overwhelm or anxiety?

You feel on edge, uncertain, heart racing?? Maybe you feel that sitting in a place where worry and fear just feel like it’s a part of who you are, you constantly have a pit in your stomach and tightness in your chest and the whirring thoughts of ‘what if’ seem like they are never ending??

You are most certainly not alone, but I also want you to know that it doesn’t have to be that way.

To be completely honest with you, I am dealing with symptoms of it right now myself and I’m so incredibly grateful for the tools I have to be able to help me manage it and get on with living my life in the way I want to. 

With challenges of running a business, stresses of finances, kids, time and feeling like there isn’t enough of it, perfectionism, feelings of not being enough, pressures of social situations, pressures of social media, blah blah blah, it can all feel so much and the feelings it brings are crippling as it leaves you wanting to hide away and just do nothing.

I’m certainly not immune to feeling it rise up, I think we all have a tendency to put pressure on ourselves. In many ways that can be a good thing BUT the long term effects of chronic stress and anxiety can end up leading to burnout, and I don’t want that for you.

It’s never been a more important time to prioritise and support your own mental health and have the self awareness to be able empower you to manage it.

To get back to a space of calm, of confidence, of flow and back to a space of feeling good. That is your natural state, it’s the way in which we are supposed to function. 

How good would it feel to be able to get back to that?

A space where you can learn to identify and manage your triggers.

To have the quick and effective toolkit to your go to practices that help you overcome those negative feelings when they rise, and get back to being the person you want to show up as, to allow yourself to feel happy and enjoy your life again.

After speaking to so many of you in my community it felt important to me, to create a space of support and knowledge around the area of stress and anxiety, as I see more and more people are crippled by it and it’s stopping you from enjoying living your life.

So this month I have been speaking to Suzannah Butcher. Suzannah is the founder of Calmpreneur.com, an online resource to support entrepreneurs struggling with stress and anxiety. Suzannah also works as an Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Tapping Coach & Mental Health Advocate.
