Who’s Taking Care Of You?
I touched on this last week with the whole election debarcle.
We have been brought up in a society of righteousness, where we believe we expect to be taken care of, that someone owes us something.
My point was that we should not depend on the government to take care of our lives. Why put your life in the hands of something that you really have no true power and control over.
Yes I do believe I was very lucky to be brought up in a loving family who gave me absolutely everything I wanted BUT that is not the reason I am where I am today.
This life has taken, work, focus, self belief and the ability to keep on going even when something shows up to knock your confidence and throw you off track.
You and you alone are responsible for how your life turns out.
So when are you going to step in to that power and claim it??

Kerri asked if she could do this goal setting process with her rugby girls. I was like hell yeah, I wish someone had taught me this stuff when I was younger. Maybe I would have been more organised, more successful had less struggles through my years.

Goals can seem big scary and times unachievable.
At other times we get fired up and over estimate what our results ‘should’ look like and then you give up when you don’t hit them.
