Mindfulness!!!

You may have heard the word bounded around quite a lot, but what does it actually mean and how can it help you improve your health and wellness, and stop you from scoffing down ALL of the chocolate.

Becoming more mindful in my eyes is just about waking up to your thoughts and feelings to be able to regain your power. By putting you back in the driving seat, to take control of your life and get back to having all of the things that you want for yourself.

More health, more happiness, more control, more awesomeness.

Because we are what we do repeatedly.

The results that you have are a direct relation to the habits that you practice on a daily basis.

Every action you take is preceded by a thought.

Most of the time you probably don’t take much time to notice what that thought was, you just know you want chocolate, or you don’t feel like working out today, or you don’t feel like getting up early, wondering if it’s wine o’clock yet, or whatever the reoccurring habit is for you that is keeping you stuck right now.

When you start to practice a more conscious approach to your health and wellbeing you can start to question and challenge the underlying thoughts, so you can feel like you can make better choices rather than constantly feeling out of control.

A BIG part of that is a tool that has been incredibly powerful for me personally, and that is journaling.

You may well be thinking that it’s all airy fairy BS and can’t really help you, BUT ask yourself this.

Is what you are doing right now working for you??

If not then open yourself to the possibilities of some alternative tools before you dismiss it.

Last night I did a live session over in the free Facebook group where I reveal the what, whys and how too’s and the easy get start process of starting your journaling practice.

Because this alone has allowed me to become calmer, more in control, happier, clearer and more motivated than ever before.

It’s the cheapest form of therapy you will ever experience, seriously, so I encourage you to give it a try before you completely dismiss it.
