Don’t be afraid of being a beginner.
We all have to suck at something before we get better at it.
Running was ALWAYS my let down, I used to HATE running (and I don’t take that word lightly)
BUT I decided that #OCR was the sport for me and something I wanted to keep on getting better at so it simply had to become part of my life.
Now a fecking love running and it simply came from a shift in mindset and now I’m starting to see the results.
Long snow run this morning and coming from a person who used to hate running, I’m really starting to find my stride. Just not so much when the dogs are pulling me downhill in the snow though it is lots of fun.
Apart from having to stop for the dogs to take a dump every now and then I can feel that ability in my legs to just keep on going, even on the hill sections.
Start with taking control of your mind and everything else starts to come into place.
